Description
Make Carnations from sensuous silk ribbon with this kit delivered straight to your home.
From newly opening buds to older, blowsy blooms, Carnations made from silk ribbon make an elegant embellishment.
This big, full flower is similar to a real carnation but could be any large flower with multiple petals. It is made by one of the simplest of techniques: a single piece of ribbon is gathered by hand, or by machine, along one edge before being wound into a spiral shape. By adjusting the amount its ribbon petals are spread, this flower can be made to look like a newly opening bud or a grander, open bloom in its full glory.
