I am fascinated by how students of all ages learn: some need to read a textbook, some need to see a demonstration, some need to do the project themselves. The moment when an idea or concept suddenly makes sense to a student – the aha! moment – is joyous – that’s the reward for a teacher.
I would love to teach a Master Class or give a Presentation to your group or school, featuring one or two of the couture embellishing techniques shown in my book, Creating Couture Embellishments. A master class would be limited to a small number of students, while a presentation could be opened up to a much larger group. I am happy to provide whichever format best suits your group or school.
Please contact me so we can discuss the particular interests of your group or school.
*I will be at the Association of Sewing & Design Professionals (ASDP) Annual Conference, in Milwaukee, WI. On Friday October 18, 2019 I will be teaching “An Afternoon of Rose Petals, Sharks’ Teeth & Butterfly Bows,” aka Flowers and Decorative Ribbons. The conference runs from Oct. 18-20, 2019, with lots more classes being offered.
